Ministry of Finance checked the «Titanium Valley»: all the money spent on PR

Last week it became known that Ministry of Finance has completed the audit of the project of construction of a special economic zone «Titanium Valley», which is run by «The Development Corporation of the Middle Urals». The inspection was carried out unscheduled and was held to assess the effectiveness of the use of budget funds allocated to the corporation. The audit of the financial experts showed that most of the money was directed to the presentation, advertising and participation in exhibition projects.

Tryokhgorny is near default

Tryokhgorny budget is on the edge of bankruptcy. Its Head Svetlana Olkhovskaya told about the possible introduction of foreign financial administration in the city. The reason for this was the position of the Federal Ministry of Finance, which has withdrawn from the budget of the municipality 995 thousand rubles towards debt repayment for earlier loan. Total debt on the loan is more than 420 million rubles. The loan was taken by ex-mayor Nicholay Lubents.  

Yakushev, topped the rating of the Ural regions leaders influence

Agency of Political and Economic Communications (APEC) published the rating of Regional Heads’ impact in July 2012. The list of regional leaders, whose influence can be described as «very strong», entered the governors of «Tyumen dolls». Head of the Tyumen Region Vladimir Yakushev was in the 9th place. Followed by the Yamal Governor Dmitry Kobylkin, his influence has increased by 3 points (14th place). Natalia Komarova, on the contrary, has weakened her political influence, but still remained in the leader ranking board, 19th places.

Sverdlovsk Governor Eugene Kuyvashev is in 21st place. Immediately followed by Head of the Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yurevich. Kurgan Region Governor Oleg Bogomolov located at 73rd position.

Bogomolov demanded actively to improve the welfare of local residents

Trans-Urals Government announced the results of the first half of the year. To sum up, Head of the Region noted that it is necessary to raise the standard of living of the residents.
