Sverdlovsk Region got a new Prime Minister

Last week the Sverdlovsk Region got a new Prime Minister. On a place of the retired Anatoly Gredin Governor Alexander Misharin suggested Vladimir Vlasov -"social" vice-premier, who headed the Anatoly Gredin’s government as a Minister of Social Protection.

Trutnev was dissapointed by a number of environmental violations in Ugra

A meeting under the chairmanship of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Yury Trutnev was held in Khanty-Mansiysk. The Minister drew the attention of oil companies to the complex ecological situation in the Autonomous Region. The event was attended by representatives of the Ugra administration, «LUKOIL» Ltd., «Surgutneftegaz» Ltd., «NK «Rosneft» Ltd., «Samotlorneftegaz» Ltd., «Salym Petroleum Development N.V.» and others.

April 17, «Gazprom» Ltd. and «Novatek» Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation, under which the companies are considering the possibility of establishing joint ventures to increase the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on the Yamal Peninsula and the joint development of the existing resource base of the peninsula Gydan.
